Our 16th century Breton farmhouse offers a peaceful and private setting
for your Chambres D'Hotes/ B&B break in a rural area ideal for both exploring and relaxing.
Our B&B/Chambres D'hotes is an ideal family holiday location as it is just
1.5 kms from a small bustling town called Gouarec, which has restaurants, bars,
mini-golf and local shops, about 8 kms from Lac de Guerledan, 35 minutes from the north Brittany coast at St Brieuc and an hour or so from the south Brittany coast, where there are not just lovely sandy beaches but also rock pools for children to try their hand at crabbing!
An ideal location for exploring Brittany.

Les Hirondelles has recently been completely renovated to include every
modern convenience eg central heating, all rooms en suite, etc, whilst
retaining a wealth of 'olde worlde' charm with its huge beams, massive
granite fireplace with its wonderful warming log burner, slate flagged
floors and a spiral stone staircase in its own tower. We offer luxury
Chambres D'Hotes/B&B accommodation in Brittany in 3 bedrooms:
  'La Chambre Verte' is on
the first floor and has a comfortable king size bed,
and sitting area, with en suite bathroom;
'La Chambre
Jaune' is also on the first floor and has a
comfortable king size bed and a single bed, plus a sitting area, and an en suite shower
room;
These two bedrooms are adjacent to each other.
'La
Chambre Rouge' is located on the ground floor making it accessible to those
with mobility problems including wheelchair users, and has a
king size bed and sitting area with an en suite ('wet' room) shower room.
All
our rooms can be adapted to suit a family with the addition of single bed/s and/or cot.
Each
room has an alarm/clock/radio and hair dryer, and books, magazines and local
information to read.
In the sitting room, there is a wood burner set in an original stone fireplace and comfortable seating. There is a
English satellite television with DVD and video players with a number of different films for you to watch, and also games and books.
 In fine weather breakfast will be served either in the courtyard to
the front, or on the terrace to the rear which overlooks the garden.
You will have the choice of
breads (usually home-made), croissants, pain au chocolate, home made jams, fruit juice and coffee or tea.
If you would like an evening meal you can arrange this at breakfast time on a daily
basis. Or if you'd like a packed lunch, please tell us the night before and
we'll have one ready for you to take with you!
 The
terrace is beneath an ancient medlar tree which gives pleasant dappled shade
and there is a barbecue available for guests to use, a safe lawn
area for children and outside games, and you also have the use of our heated
swimming pool from 24 May to 6 September 2008.
Out of season you can book one of our gites on a per night basis which gives
you the use of a private sitting room and cooking facilities but also the
benefit of breakfast served to you.
